Kilted Candles was born out of a desire to capture the rugged beauty and warm hospitality of the Scottish Highlands. Inspired by the legendary Stewart tartan, we wanted to create something that feels deeply traditional yet matches the clean elegance of the modern home.

Every single candle is hand-poured in small, controlled batches using 100% natural coconut apricot wax, custom-blended botanical fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. Standardized on our signature matte-black jars, gold metal lids, and gold foil labels, we wrap our heritage in every box.

Our standard 220g candles offer a slow, even burn time of approximately 45 to 50 hours. To maximize this, always trim the cotton wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting, and allow the wax pool to reach the edge of the glass container during the first burn.

Coconut apricot wax is derived from natural coconuts and apricots, making it a completely renewable and biodegradable resource. Unlike paraffin wax (which is refined petroleum), coconut apricot wax burns clean without releasing black soot, toxins, or carcinogens, and has a lower melting point, meaning your candle lasts longer.

Every single Kilted Candle is hand-poured in our studio located in North Carolina, USA. We source our natural coconut apricot wax from ethical farms and mix our scents locally, using custom formulations that are unique to our brand.

Yes, absolutely. Once your candle has 1/2 inch of wax remaining, pour warm water inside to melt and float the wax, pull out the wick base, and wash with warm soapy water. The matte-black jars and gold metal lids make wonderful storage containers, desktop pen holders, or spice pots.
